That’s the end of the line in New York for Tommy Cutlets.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Tuesday morning that the Giants released former Illini quarterback Tommy DeVito.
It’s a crowded QB room in the Big Apple, with Jameis, Jaxon Dart, and Russell Wilson, so it was unlikely the undrafted third-year QB out of Champaign would be able to find himself a spot.
We’ll see what happens next for Tommy, but we’ll always have the memories
of his remarkable 2023 rookie campaign, when he was thrust into the national spotlight in the NFL.
And his memorable 2022 season in Orange & Blue, when he set the standard for Bret Bielema’s winning ways.
