The Syracuse Orange picked up some more help on the offensive line as Houston tackle David Ndukwe has committed.
Ndukwe is listed at 6’6” and 325 pounds and the Decatur, Georgia native started his career at Western Kentucky before transferring to Houston. In 2024, Ndukwe made nine starts at left tackle for the Cougars and he had a 73.9 pass blocking grade according to PFF.
Last season he only
appeared in two games before suffering an injury which allowed for a redshirt year that he’ll use with the Orange. He was ranked as a three-star by On3 and should immediately be in the mix to compete for the left tackle position.
We’ve all expressed concern about the offensive line, so this looks like a good add at this time for Fran Brown’s squad. This will be Ndukwe’s 7th year in college, so he’s certainly going to add some experience
