Happy Victory Monday one and all.
Despite everyone not seeing a path, the Arizona Cardinals found a way to victory over the Los Angeles Chargers. Now the question is… can they do it again?
The Arizona Cardinals are 1-0, the Seattle Seahawks are 1-0, and the Seahawks without Sam Darnold open as 5.5-point favorites according to our friends at FanDuel Sportsbook.
When it comes to lines, I genuinely don’t understand things. Either the Seahawks are better than the Cardinals, or their lack of Darnold makes
this a more interesting game. I guess less than a touchdown is interesting, but for the most part, the Cardinals didn’t win how people expected. So, them being underdogs with the offense being middle of the road is probably why this line is where it is.
If the Cardinals offense had been better, maybe things would be different, but the sharps are going to want to see the defense repeat the performance and the offense do a little more in terms of scoring and producing scoring drives.
If the defense puts up another stellar performance, if the special teams gives the Cardinals short fields, maybe week three will change things.
However for now, the Seahawks are favored, while the Cardinals looked better in week one… So what happens next?
