The Portland Trail Blazers will look to make it a season sweep versus the Boston Celtics tonight in a battle of NBA Titans…well, at least when it comes to basketball websites like this one. CelticsBlog
has long been famous in NBA circles and neck-and-neck with our own site (along with an occasional butt-in from the L*kers site) for supremacy across the network. Generally if the Celtics are winning a championship, they’ll streak ahead and parade with the crown, but we (in true San Antonio Spurs fashion) plug along with efficiency and surprising pluck, going hard at it and ending up with more than credible showings.
And hey, that’s just what the Blazers are trying to do! You can talk about their continuing quest here along with fellow Blazers fans. Here’s the info you need as the game gets underway. Note the early start and the NBC/Peacock broadcast!

Here’s what we ask in our discussion threads:
- Stay on the topic of the game during official Game Day threads. We ask that the focus be a little tighter because everyone is gathering for the same reason, the game that unites us all.
- Don’t troll. Talk about basketball, not other commenters. Be smart and charitable—or at least honest and relatable—in the discussion. Friction happens, but treat this like your living room, not an anonymous message board. (Also avoid the classic internet trolling techniques: overt snark, comment repetition, etc.)
- Obviously no language that diminishes people based on race, gender, orientation, and the like is allowed. If you’re going to insult the L*kers, at least be creative.
- Blazer’s Edge is a non-profanity site. Yes, even though referees exist.
Thanks for being a part of the discussion. Enjoy the game and join us after for analysis and more!
