Bayern Munch board member for sport Max Eberl is not yet satisfied with the season, but he is feeling pretty good about it…at least, so far.
For Eberl, being alive in all three competitions is of the utmost importance and he appreciates the job that the team has done in getting to this point.
“We’re in all three competitions. We wanted a packed March, and now we have a packed March with the Champions League Round of 16 and the Pokal semifinals. We’re extremely proud. You play all three competitions to
win them — but step by step. If you’re constantly looking too far ahead, you can quickly stumble,” Eberl said (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
The 2-0 win over RB Leipzig in the DFB-Pokal was Bayern Munich’s latest success, but the journey is far from over. Winning each of these competitions will be difficult, so consistency, health, and some luck will be needed to get the job done.
