So… I just published the reasons why Notre Dame should make the decision to not accept any bowl invitation this year, and then I see they did IN FACT decide to opt out.
They are 100% doing the right thing here.
There is no need to help a system out that is hell bent on trashing Notre Dame at every turn. Most of the games are on ESPN, so they’ll just have to have some other schmuck program to carry their ratings for these attrocities.
So… we have seen the last of this Notre
Dame football team for 2025. It’s quite literally one of the best teams the Irish have fielded in 30 years, and now it’s done. Unless Indiana wins the national championship, Notre Dame will start the season in 2026 with the nation’s longest winning streak.
Two questions…
- Do you think this is the right thing to do?
- Can we bank this as a self-imposed bowl ban for any future NCAA bullshit?
Man — what a wild turn of events.
