Bayern Munich board member for sport Max Eberl is ready for the start of a new season and is looking forward to seeing some of the fresh faces on the squad get a chance to prove themselves under head coach Vincent Kompany.
“We made the transfers we wanted with Nene (Brown), Ismael (Saibari), and Bara (Sapoko Ndiaye). We also had a few departures. It’s a fresh start now. Tomorrow we have our first final against Dortmund, and they’ll do everything they can to stop us from winning the cup. We’ll do everything we can to win the cup. We’ll have to work
hard for everything again for the new season,” Eberl noted (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
Bayern Munich is well-equipped to take down Borussia Dortmund in the Franz Beckenbauer Supercup, even if it will be missing Lennart Karl, Jamal Musiala, and Serge Gnabry. The depth added by Eberl during this offseason should serve the team well in the coming months.
Now, the journey begins…is Bayern Munich ready?
