The Bloodline/946 feud had a cease fire over the weekend, because love triumphs over kayfabe.
Pro wrestling jokes aside*, the long-awaited (and once pre-emptively celebrated) wedding of WWE wrestlers Carmelo Hayes and Kelani Jordan happened in Florida this past weekend.
That meant several of the bride’s present NXT co-workers from NXT were in attendance, along with the groom’s people from his time in Developmental and his time on the main
roster — like Solo Sikoa.
And nobody was swinging a crowbar at the reception. Based on clips from social media, Solo was only firing warning shots on the dance floor, and everyone was PEW PEW-ing along with him.
We looove that for Solo. Congrats to Hayes and Jordan. Will he continue his hot streak with a honeymoon-delaying appearance with his 946 brothers and sister tonight (Oct. 19) on Raw in San Diego?
* And if you’re still getting upset about heels and faces congregating together outside of kayfabe… hey, I’m old too. And it still happens sometimes! But if we keep expecting every wrestler in a big storyline to do it, we’re going to continue to be disappointed.
