You would be hard-pressed to find a better and more loyal fanbase out there in the wide world of sport than that of the Chicago Bears. It is far more rare, however, to find a Bears fan that is accustomed to success when it comes to the NFL Draft. The 2025 NFL Draft was one for the ages in Chicago. The type of draft that serves as a foundation for long-term success of a franchise. That said, I was curious to find out which picks were most liked and least liked by the fan base with which I affiliate.
Over the last few weeks, I ran a poll for each pick asking if Ryan Poles made the right selection and gave a few alternative options. Here are the results after more than two thousand votes.
Ranked in order of greatest to least:
Kyle Monangai – 96%
Colston Loveland – 92%
Luther Burden III – 90%
Ozzy Trapilo – 75%
Luke Newman – 67%
Zah Frazier – 34%
Shemar Turner – 11%
Ruben Hyppolite II- 11%
*To clarify, these results were the percentage of votes made for each player selected compared to alternative options at that exact draft slot.
While I am certain that I speak for every Bears fan when I say that we all hope Ruben Hyppolite II makes us a believer, we must shout out to #25, Kyle Monangai for being the favorite draft pick of the illustrious 2025 draft class. After finishing 8th all time in franchise history with 783 rush yards as a rookie, it seems like we’ll be seeing many more #25 jerseys at Soldier Field in the years to come. Hopefully plenty of these as well:
Cheers to the best fans on the planet. Look forward to another unforgettable draft class that leads us even further into the playoffs and ultimately to our first Lombardi Trophy in 40 years.
