The Detroit Lions play on “Sunday Night Football,” which means we get a full day of low-stress games up until 8:20 p.m. ET.
The day kicked off with a snoozer between the Commanders and Dolphins in Spain (at least through three quarters), but things ramp up in a hurry in Week 11 with a bunch of high-stakes games on the slate.
In the 1 p.m. ET hour, we’re treated to a big NFC North matchup between the Minnesota Vikings and Chicago Bears that will be airing locally on FOX. Meanwhile on CBS, locals will get
an intriguing matchup between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Buffalo Bills. If you’re watching Red Zone or have Sunday Ticket, there are also a few other games worth keeping an eye on, including Packers vs. Giants, Chargers vs. Jaguars, and Bengals vs. Steelers.
The 4 p.m. ET block also has a few must-watch games. Unfortunately, the only local offering is a solid Chiefs vs. Broncos game, but the real headliner is Seahawks vs. Rams in what should be a huge NFC West game. You’ll have to find an alternate way to watch it, though, as it won’t be the local offering—unless you live in the Pacific Northwest, anywhere between Los Angeles and Las Vegas, or some other random pockets of the country (check 506 Sports to find out). Even Cardinals vs. 49ers has some intrigue for Lions fans closely following the NFC playoff race.
We’ve got which teams you should be rooting for right here.
But this post is for discussion of all the NFL games on Sunday. This will serve as both the 1 p.m. ET and 4 p.m. ET live chat thread. So make sure you have Pride of Detroit account, sign in, and scroll down to the comment section to chat during the afternoon games.
Go Lions!
