It’s darn near draft time, and that means plenty of promotional nonsense, some better than others. The Los Angeles Rams have to promote their draft, whether by design or not, they somewhat always are of interest because they are a wild card. No one (maybe not even them?) knows what they will do.
Needing to tune in to see what happens, that’s a heck of a promotion.
Franky, every team around now should be promoting the NFL Draft. It’s part of the rules.
You can check it out L.A.’s approach below.
I don’t
have much to say. It’s Saturday. I am glad to be alive on a Saturday. Ask me Monday, you may get a different answer.
Rest up. The draft is coming, and everything that comes with it.
Rams drop ‘Thursday’ 2026 NFL draft teaser featuring sons of ‘Friday’ stars (espn)
“The film is a parody of the 1995 comedy “Friday” starring Ice Cube and Chris Tucker, who played Craig and Smokey, respectively.
In “Thursday,” the Rams pay homage to the original film by using the titular theme song by Ice Cube and reenacting several standout scenes.“
One Perfect Wide Receiver Target for the Rams in Every Round of the NFL Draft (si.com)
“It’s hard to find a better fit for the Rams at wide receiver in the draft than Carnell Tate. Jordyn Tyson could be an option, but there is some injury risk. The Rams need someone to take over the “Z” role in the offense with the ability to win vertically. That’s exactly what Tate provides.. He ranked second in college football with nine receptions of 40 or more yards and his 26.65 yards per route run on deep routes of 20 yards or more ranked fourth. Tate is a crisp route runner and a competitive blocker, which fits the typical Rams archetype. It may take a trade up to get Tate, but it’s a move that could pay off. “
Could the Rams Get Aggressive in the Draft? (lastwordonsports)
“The Miami Dolphins have started a rebuild, hiring Jeff Hafley and signing quarterback Malik Willis. They also released Tyreek Hill and traded Jaylen Waddle during the offseason.
Currently, Miami has few weapons on the outside, and Lemon would be a great young receiver for the start of their rebuild. Picking at No. 11, the Dolphins have two likely options – select Lemon or an offensive lineman to protect Willis.“

“Watched an analyst bash the horns this morning. He was asking why they can’t get it right. Just curl the damn things around the ear hole!” -Clev2LA46
