Notre Dame is 6-1 and ranked No. 5 in the country after coming off of their bye week. The last time we saw Notre Dame they were walking off of the football field in Provo, Utah, with one second left on the clock… but all of that is way behind the Irish.
All they can do is look forward with 5 games left in the regular season with one being against No.1 Miami and another being against an SMU team that could be a top 15 team by the time they play — or also (just as easily) unranked.
