Per Steve Kerr, Steph Curry, Jimmy Butler, Al Horford, and Moses Moody will all sit out the Golden State Warriors’ third preseason game against the Los Angeles Lakers at Crypto.com Arena.
Curry is “banged
up,” per Kerr, but he plans to play Tuesday in Portland against the Trail Blazers.
Meanwhile, it was previously reported that Butler will miss the game due to an excused absence, for a “positive reason,” per Kerr.
The most interesting piece of news regards Moody, who was diagnosed with calf issue. An MRI is scheduled to determine the presence and severity of a possible strain, but the team believes it to be a minor issue and is taking precautionary measures.
Kerr is planning to field a starting lineup of Brandin Podziemski, Buddy Hield. Jonathan Kuminga, Draymond Green, and Quinten Post against the Lakers.
