The schedule is finally here.
On Thursday, the LSU women’s gymnastics team announced their 2027 schedule including opponents, dates and tentative start times. This schedule includes five home meets, six road meets and an early double-meet weekend. LSU also announced that this season’s Gym 101/Open Mike Night will be on New Year’s Day at 1:00 p.m. That will be a Friday. Note that most meets have yet to be given a network because that’s chosen later.
LSU opens the 2027 season at the Sprouts Farmers Market Collegiate Quad on January 9 at Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina, against Oklahoma, Florida and UCLA. That meet will be at 1:00 p.m. and will be broadcast on ABC. LSU returns home to host Arizona State on January 15 at 7:30 p.m.
LSU follows that with a double-meet weekend. They go to Kentucky on January 22 for a meet at 6:45 and then travel to Denton, Texas, to face Texas Woman’s on January 24 at 2:00 p.m. LSU returns home to face Georgia on January 29 at 7:00 p.m., a meet which likely coincides with the Krewe of Southdowns parade.
February is a stacked month. LSU hits up Auburn on the 5th at 7:00 p.m., then they come back home for the battle against Oklahoma on the 12th at 8:00 p.m. The Tigers then go back to Alabama to face the Crimson Tide on the 19th at 8:00 p.m. LSU returns home to face Florida on the 26th at 8:00 p.m. because apparently someone in the SEC is obsessed with having those meets as late as possible.
LSU then goes to Arkansas on March 5th for a meet at 7:00 p.m. before returning home one last time to face Missouri on March 12 at 7:30 p.m. The 2027 SEC Gymnastics Championships will be at Benchmark International Arena in Tampa on March 20. Regionals will run from March 31-April 4 on pre-selected campus sites, and nationals will be April 15 and 17 at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth.
