After its second bye week of the season, BYU Football plays again in a big-time matchup at Texas Tech on Saturday morning.
The BYU Cougars remain undefeated at 8-0 overall and 5-0 in the Big 12. They last
played on Oct. 25 at Iowa State, winning by a final score of 41-27. When the first College Football Playoff Rankings were released this past week, BYU came in at no. 7.
The Texas Tech Red Raiders were no. 8 in the CFP rankings. They are 8-1 overall with a 5-1 conference record. That one loss for Texas Tech came at Arizona State on Oct. 18. The Red Raiders played most recently on Nov. 1 at Kansas State, winning by a final score of 43-20.
Saturday morning marks the third meeting between BYU and Texas Tech, with each team having won once. ESPN College Gameday will be on location in Lubbock. It will be the first time BYU has faced another AP Top 10 team while also being ranked in the top 10.
