The Buffalo Bills have made a transaction on June 1 — it’s the signing of wide receiver Mac Dalena.
He entered the NFL as a Kansas City Chiefs undrafted free agent signing in 2025 after a collegiate career at Fresno State. He spent time on the Seattle Seahawks practice squad a season ago and was a member of the New York Jets earlier this calendar year.
Dalena spent five years at Fresno State — though he never registered a reception in his sophomore season — and finished his time with the Bulldogs having
made 126 receptions for 1,761 yards with 13 receiving scores. As a senior in 2024, he caught 64 passes for 1,065 yards and eight touchdowns.
Last year, in two preseason games for the Chiefs, Dalena caught two passes for nine yards.
At the 2025 Fresno State Pro Day, Dalena measured in at 5’9 5/8” and 180 pounds with 9 1/4” hands. He ran 4.43 with a 1.56 10-yard split in the 40-yard dash. Those would fall into the 73rd percentile and 41st percentile at the receiver position, respectively. Dalena also had a 38.5” vertical (68th), 125” broad jump (73rd), and a three-cone of 6.89 seconds (62nd).
Dalena’s athleticism makes him a semi-intriguing early June acquisition before minicamp and training camp in July.
