Liverpool had themselves a solid September in the Premier League, with the Reds recording a two wins and a draw in their three league matches as new head coach Andoni Iraola continues to work to get the team back on track after the disappointment of the 2025-26 campaign.
It’s not a huge surprise, then, to learn that Iraola is up for the league’s Manager of the Month honours alongside Brighton’s Fabian Hurzeler and Manchester City’s Enzo Maresca. Meanwhile on the playing side, striker Alexander Isak
and centre half Jeremey Jacquet are up for Player of the Month.
There are more contenders on the player side, with Mohamed Belloumi of Hull City, Jayden Bogle of Leeds, Kevin Schade of Brentford, Antoine Semenyo of Man City, and Brighton duo Pascal Gross and Charalampos Kostoulas also in the running for September honours.
