Bianca Belair has been on the shelf dating back to WrestleMania 41, where she suffered a complicated hand injury. WWE was hoping to have her back in time for this year’s show, where she was rumored for a prominent match, but that’s not going to be the case.
That’s because she is still struggling through her rehab, with a finger that simply will not cooperate (via her Instagram stories):
“Most days after therapy this is what happens. My finger just stiffens back up. It feels like I’m constantly starting
over and every time it’s painful. Every hour I’m trying to move it so eventually it won’t be this way. Also, trying to keep scar tissue from forming again.”
She also posted a couple videos showing the work she’s doing on the finger. Simply rolling a pin back and forth looks like an arduous task for her.
This comes just a couple weeks after surgery. The road ahead is daunting, and she’s struggling through it, but her resolve remains. Let’s hope that finger finally starts doing what it’s supposed to much sooner rather than later.
