Good morning, Bears fans.
I think scoring 59 points is something we could get used to – even though compared to Chicago Bears’ history, it would be incredibly odd and incredibly nerve-wracking to pair this offense with a defense that… to phrase it charitably, stumbled out of the gate against Bryce Young and the Carolina Panthers.
But the Bears are 1-0 after a game which saw the highest combined score in Bears history, and now they move to open divisional play against the also-1-and-0 Minnesota Vikings.
For what it’s worth at this stage, a win over the Vikings puts the Bears in sole possession of first place in the NFC North, after the Lions fell to the Bills on Thursday night.
