Welterweights Sean Brady and Michael Morales are scheduled to throw down in a welterweight fight scheduled for UFC 322 on Nov. 15 from Madison Square Garden in New York.
With three wins in a row including
a submission victory over former champion Leon Edwards in his last outing, Brady is poised to potentially reach title contention with another win in his next fight. The Philadelphia native has only tasted defeat once in his career when he faced future champion Belal Muhammad back in 2022, but he’s since got back on track with his latest win streak.
He’ll face a stiff test in November from undefeated prospect Michael Morales, who currently sports a perfect 16-0 record including six straight wins in the UFC. The UFC announced the fight Wednesday morning.
At 26, Morales looks like a future star for the UFC after he’s finished four of his six opponents in the octagon, including blistering knockouts over Gilbert Burns and Neil Magny in his most recent performances.
Morales now faces one of the top grapplers in the division in Brady, who has six submission wins and three more knockouts on his resume.
Brady vs. Morales joins a growing lineup at UFC 322 with Jack Della Maddalena defending his welterweight title against Islam Makhachev in the main event with Valentina Shevchenko facing Zhang Weili in a flyweight title fight in the co-main event.
