This investment, however, could have ramifications that might eventually threaten the human race.
Enter…TurfRobot!
What is TurfRobot you ask? Well, aside of the potential ruination of the human race, it will — allegedly — improve the playing surface at the Allianz Arena (or lure us into thinking it is a good thing until it decimates us all!):
Bayern introduced an autonomous TurfRobot at the Allianz Arena for pitch care. The smart machine uses 3D object detection and ultraviolet C light technology to disinfect the grass organically. This removes the need for chemical pesticides and prevents turf diseases [🎥 Allianz Arena]
On the surface, this seems like a helpful technological tool aimed to improve the grass at the Allianz Arena. However, that is exactly what BIG ROBOT wants you to believe.
It’s coming everyone…AI? Grass robots? If we do not start preparing for the great war against the robots, we are doomed!
At least we will have some nice grass when that happend, though, right?
