Barcelona are reportedly preparing a new and improved offer for Karim Adeyemi after seeing an opening bid of €20 million turned down.
According to Sky’s Patrick Berger, Barcelona are planning to offer Dortmund €20 million plus €10m in bonuses and the deal will include “an improved bonus structure to make the add-ons easier to achieve.”
Barcelona apparently don’t want to go higher then €30m, with previous reports claiming that Dortmund were hoping for €40m for the Germany star.
Berger also reports that
Adeyemi has already agreed terms on a five-year deal with Barcelona, meaning if the two clubs can agree a fee, the rest of the deal should be straightforward.
Barcelona’s cause is also helped by the fact that Adeyemi only has one year left on his contract. Dortmund are also reportedly already looking for a replacement, with FC Koln’s Said El Mala emerging as a target for the Bundesliga side.
