On the latest 7PM in Brooklyn, actor and Anthony Edwards’ “White Boy of the Year” winner, Timothée Chalamet talked some hoops memories with Carmelo Anthony.
So with Chalamet being a certified ball-knower, it’s not a stretch to suggest he’s got some favorite Cuse memories. They didn’t
get into it on 7PM in Brooklyn, so until we can get hm on the Disloyal Idiots podcast, here’s our list:
Favorite Cuse players: Carmelo and Andy Rautins. Wouldn’t be that surprised if there’s a Rautins jersey somewhere in the Chalamet household.
Favorite Cuse moment: Christian said it’s Jonny Flynn dunking on Mike Rosario in the RAC while I think it’s got to be an MSG moment so I’m going with Devo’s shot that didn’t count. Devo’s press row table hop had to leave an impression on a young Chalamet.
Favorite Cuse game: the 6OT game against UConn….and to commerate the occassion, Timothée bought a Marathon Man shirt the next night. When he met Rautins, he certainly shared that tidbit.
It’s clear to us that Melo needs to bring Marty Supreme to the Dome this winter and let him experience the JMA Dome. Maybe it leads to the Dune 3 World Premiere being held in Syracuse, but at least we’d get a celebrity in the Dome who actually can share their favorite Andy Rautins moments with Orange fans…he’s already got the right orange and blue gear.
