Good morning Gang Green Nation! Alabama quarterback Ty Simpson says “When I come into a program, I’m a program changer. I just don’t make myself better — I make other people better”. That’s nice. I guess I’m old school, but sometimes I think a little humility might go a long way for these guys who have accomplished zero thus far at the NFL level. Simpson presided over an Alabama offense that was the least prolific in the last 18 years of Alabama football. Of course, there is more to an offense than
just the quarterback, and Alabama has seen a notable regression in talent over the last few years. Still, maybe don’t boast about your program changing superpowers when your last program regressed and you haven’t done anything at the next level yet. Confidence is great. You need confidence to succeed. But just a smidge of humility might also be nice occasionally.
