After putting over those young up-and-comers Adam Copeland and Christian Cage at Double or Nothing in May, three-time AEW Tag champs FTR took a break. Dax Harwood posted a long message a month after his and Cash Wheeler’s last appearance explaining the break — and teasing the possibility the Top Guys might not come back.
But they will be back, and it will be on a show happening on the eve of AEW’s return to Wembley Stadium, and in the shadow of that iconic venue. FTR is set for RevPro’s 14th Anniversary
show on Sat., Aug. 29 at OVO Wembley. Harwood and Wheeler were originally supposed to face The Young Guns duo of Luke Jacobs & Ethan Allen, but Allen tore up his knee and is out for a long while.
So instead, Dax and Cash get to challenge Cowboy Way (1 Called Manders & Thomas Shire) for their RevPro British Tag belts.
Seems like a long trip if you weren’t gonna at least show up at the Stadium the next day. Speaking of “day”s, I wonder if any of The Revival’s old friends and rivals will be at All In?
