During the roster cutdown process, the Denver Broncos placed third-year offensive tackle Frank Crum on injured reserve according to the team’s official website. This allowed the Broncos to meet the 53-man roster requirement prior to the 6:00 PM (EST) deadline this evening.
Crum suffered a leg injury in the preseason Week 2 game against the Green Bay Packers. Over the past week, he was sidelined and kept out of practice. Moreover, was not active in the Broncos’ preseason finale victory over the Minnesota
Vikings.
An undrafted free agent out of the University of Wyoming in 2024, Crum has been a developmental project for Assistant Head Coach Zach Strief and Offensive Line Coach Chris Morgan. Over the past two seasons, the former Wyoming standout was one of the key backups to Mike McGlinchey at right tackle. In his first two years with the Broncos, Crum has played in 17 regular season games with two starts.
