Barcelona announced on Tuesday that Roony Bardghji will miss significant time after tearing his ACL in training, a situation that is made worse by the fact that the Swedish winger was on the verge of completing a move away from Camp Nou.
To avoid a repeat of the situation, Hansi Flick has decided that Marc Casadó, Jofre Torrents, Héctor Fort, Tommy Marqués, Guille Fernández and Toni Fernández will no longer take part in group training until their departures are finalized before the end of the window.
Casadó is in talks for a permanent move to Saudi Arabia, while Jofre is expected to join Ajax sometime this week. As for Fort, Tommy and the Fernández cousins, talks are still at the initial stages but Flick doesn’t want any of those players to suffer a serious injury.
Fort, who has been linked with Everton and Fulham, is likely to be sold with a buy-back option included in the deal while Tommy, Guille and Toni are expected to leave on loan.
