The LSU Tigers are off a good, solid win over Florida and now look to earn some style points and hopefully fix some of the offensive woes. That means points, points, points, right? Brian Kelly will need it after his tumultuous week with the press. Can this game serve as the launching pad for the offense, as the season goes on?
From third down efficacy, player props, team defense/offense numbers, team totals and more, we will have a little bit of everything as we roll on this season. What will this week
bring?
Last season we ended with a negative record for the first time, but still ended up positive because of some big swings we took odds wise (2022: 19-17, 2023: 19-17, 2024: 16-20) and we hope to do better this time around. We hope to continue the season strong. (5-4 in 2025)
Today, we take a look at predicting three specific areas for the team. Remember these are bold(ish) predictions. (All stats via CFBSTATS)
1 Aaron Anderson OVER 68.5 receiving yards (-110, FanDuel)
Ride the hot hand, he has this all season and proven to be a Nuss Bus favorite, so why not continue it here with the game being over in the first two quarters, we could hit this one fairly quickly.
What matters more than the win would be Kelly and the coaching staff getting the small details right as they hed to the gauntlet that is the SEC. This game provided an opportunity for some flash points and easy YAC. Take it.
2 Caden Durham ATTD (-140, FanDuel)
Listen, we need an easy win and this might be the easiest of the season. Durham should be featured heavily in the first half at minimum and him getting pay dirt would be enough for a win. Durham runs hard and against an FCS team, he should feast and be out by midway of the third quarter at worst, all we need is one TD, not to much to ask for, right?

3 Game Total UNDER 51.5 (-110, FanDuel)
The LSU offense will score, but as like in the past few games many not as many points as we hope. Still, I think they earn a great win and do get some distance on them.
Pairing that with the defense, led by Perkins Jr, and we can see the under hitting quite comfortably and still getting a big LSU win.
Final score prediction: LSU 38-10 Southeast Louisiana
