Frank Martin will make his return to the ring on October 25, headlining the preliminary portion of PBC’s Fundora vs Thurman pay-per-view.
Martin will face Rances Barthelemy in a 10-round super lightweight
bout, one of three fights that will air on Prime Video prior to the pay-per-view broadcast.
Martin (18-1, 12 KO) hasn’t fought since his June 2024 loss to Gervonta Davis, where he was competitive through seven rounds before being knocked out in the eighth. The 30-year-old Martin now moves up to 140, looking to get past the 39-year-old Barthelemy (30-3-1, 15 KO), who is also returning after a long layoff. The Cuban hasn’t fought since an April 2024 loss to Jose Ramirez.
Also on the card:
- 19-year-old Vegas southpaw Kaipo Gallegos (10-0-1, 8 KO) will face Nike Theran (20-1, 14 KO), a 28-year-old Colombian who may well be a tougher out than expected. While his slate of wins isn’t terribly impressive, his lone loss was a competitive one on the road in Italy to Michael Magnesi in 2023. They’ll meet in a 10-round fight at lightweight.
- Super featherweight Luis Nunez (21-0, 14 KO) will take on Hector Sosa (18-3, 9 KO) in another 10-rounder, pitting the unbeaten Dominican against a tough Argentine veteran who does have three losses but has not been stopped.
