If nothing else happens during this transfer window, Bayern Munich president Herbert Hainer will still be happy with the roster composition.
“I don’t want to comment on names or speculation. In general, I can say that we’re very happy with our squad. We’ve achieved what we wanted. With Jonathan Tah and Tom Bischof, we signed two German internationals on a free. With Luis Díaz we were able to fill the gap on the left wing. Now we have the luxury to see what happens on the market in the next three weeks.
If a player wants to leave, then of course we’ll sit down with him and speak – and then react accordingly,” Hainer told FCBInside (via @iMiaSanMia). “As I said, I don’t want to participate in speculation. But if a player wants to go, we’ll discuss, assess the advantages and disadvantages and what it means for FC Bayern, then react accordingly.”
There will almost assuredly be tweaks to the squad, but Hainer likes what he sees. Do you? If not, what else would you do as the transfer window nears an end?
