The Cleveland Browns opened as 3.5-point road underdogs against the Pittsburgh Steelers ahead of their Week 8 match-up, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. The over/under on the game is 38.5.
The Browns (5-2) are coming off of a 27-24 win over the Tennessee Titans. It had similar vibes to last year’s game against the Titans, where QB Cam Ward didn’t do much, RB Tony Pollard had another career day, and the game was tight to the end with high-octane offense from Cleveland. Like he’s been doing this season,
Deshaun Watson led another game-winning drive, and K Andre Szmyt got to hit another field goal as time expired. Cleveland does have to fix the fact that they keep allowing opening-drive touchdowns, though.
The Steelers (5-2) are coming off of a 16-10 win against the New Orleans Saints in Paris. Even though it wasn’t a decisive victory, Pittsburgh had the edge for most of the game. After falling to the Browns in Week 4, Pittsburgh has won three straight games against the Colts, Buccaneers, and Saints. This represents another game to determine who will hold first place in the division after the week is over. Even though Cleveland won the first match-up, it’s been a long, long time since they’ve won a regular season game in Pittsburgh, so being the underdogs isn’t a surprise here.
The over/under for the game is 38.5.
