The Dodgers conclude their nine-game road trip on Sunday, with Emmet Sheehan looking to rebound against the Mets at Citi Field.

Sheehan allowed six runs in a loss to the Phillies on Monday, one more run than he gave up in his previous three outings combined. Mets right-hander Freddy Peralta is coming off a bad start of his own, giving up seven runs in a loss to Milwaukee on Monday.

Among the 117 major league pitchers with at least 80 innings this season, Sheehan ranks 103rd in ERA (5.13) and 43rd in xERA

(3.89), while Peralta is 99th in ERA (5.01) and 40th in xERA (3.86). Both have better peripheral numbers than their ERA shows, but it hasn’t yet translated to much success on the mound.
