This week’s episode of NXT television was a newsworthy one, largely aimed at quickly building out the card for the rapidly approaching Halloween Havoc, which is scheduled for Sat., Oct. 25, 2025, at the Findlay
Toyota Center in Prescott Valley, Arizona.
To that end, we got four title matches:
NXT Championship: Ricky Saints (c) vs. Trick Williams
Williams went from losing the TNA championship at Bound for Glory straight into a program with the NXT champion. They’ll have a contract signing for this one next week.
NXT Women’s Championship: Jacy Jayne (c) vs. Tatum Paxley
They did a battle royal to determine the next number one contender to Jayne’s title and Paxley was the unlikely winner. She celebrated with Lyra Valkyria and it appears the push is on, though Jayne has new backup in the form of Lainey Reid, who was officially welcomed into Fatal Attraction.
NXT Tag Team Championship: The Hardy Boyz (c) vs. DarkState
Matt & Jeff won the titles at the “Showdown” special and DarkState sent them a message backstage with an attack that made clear we were getting a rematch.
North American Championship: Ethan Page (c) vs. Hijo De Dr. Wagner Jr.
The AAA Latin American champion called out Page for a match, and the champ agreed. It will, however, be a Day of the Dead match. That means anything goes.
