WWE NXT’s Stand & Deliver premium live event isn’t a part of WrestleMania weekend this year, but it’s still a big deal. It’s going down tonight (Sat., April 4, 2026) from The Factory at The District in St. Louis. While there will be a “Countdown” pre-show, the premium live event itself begins at 7 p.m. ET — streaming on YouTube in the U.S., and on Netflix pretty much everywhere else.
The show will feature FIVE title matches, with the developmental brand’s top men’s, women’s and men’s tag team championships
among those that will be the line. The secondary singles belts will also be contested, and the first televised one-on-one encounter in a deeply personal feud between two former best friends.
It can be a lot to keep up with, even if you watch every week. Luckily for you Cagesiders, our staff of learned wrestling blowhards is here to help figure out just how the event is going to play out with predictions for each match on the card.
Let’s get to it.
WWE NXT STAND & DELIVER PREDICTIONS
Men’s NXT championship: Joe Hendry (c) vs. Ricky Saints vs. Ethan Page vs. Tony D’Angelo
Geno Mrosko: Hendry isn’t the champion NXT needs and that’s clear already. I’m not sure if it isn’t finally time to crown Tony D. I think it just may be. Pick: Tony D’Angelo
Sean Rueter: We had a pretty lengthy discussion about Hendry in the “offices” the other day. I still think he settles into a long main roster career working beneath the main event, somewhere in the Truth/Miz/LA Knight zone. Anyway, as a part of that discussion, his successor as NXT champ was discussed. That brought the conversation to All Ego, and while I think he’s ultimately a midcard star himself, he’s a better man for this job right now. Pick: Ethan Page
Claire Elizabeth: Four-way math favors the champion, as ever, and Tony D sure has the momentum such as it is, but… I can’t help it. I’ve always been an Ethan Page gal and I ain’t stopping now. Let’s get it, All Ego! Pick: “All Ego” Ethan Page
Marcus Benjamin: Going purely off who I think would be better for the title, this is simple. Pick: Tony D’Angelo
M. G0MEZ: It’s now or never for Tony D’Angelo. He’s been in NXT for five years, much of it saddled with a corny, outdated mafia gimmick he only recently dropped. More than anyone in this match, D’Angelo needs to win and prove himself as NXT Champion before moving to the main roster. Now or never. Pick: Tony D’Angelo
Josh Jagler: Joe Hendry’s title reign has been pretty lackluster thus far, and Joe might just be one of those guys that’s better chasing gold than he is holding it. I think Ethan and Ricky take turns trying to screw each other and Tony capitalizes. Pick: Tony D’Angelo
Women’s NXT championship: Jacy Jayne (c) vs. Lola Vice vs. Kendal Grey
Geno Mrosko: There’s a bright future ahead for both Vice and Grey, but I don’t think it’s time for either of the two as the head of the NXT women’s division. Pick: Jacy Jayne
Sean Rueter: Jayne proved me wrong a long time ago, now it’s time for her to move on. Vice still hasn’t impressed me enough to put her atop NXT’s best division. This may be a Pittsburgh Pirates fan still riding the high of Konnor Griffin’s debut yesterday, but let’s just go ahead and give the phenom the belt. Pick: Kendal Grey
Claire Elizabeth: Please anyone or everyone save me from Jacy Jayne, I know as I type these words right now that she’s gonna retain and I’m gonna groan but I just can’t do it, there’s enough wrong with the world without me adding to it. Kendal’s the hot hand and the woman I’d be most excited to see walk out with the title, but I’m going to concede slightly to the reality of NXT and go the other way. Pick: Lola Vice
Marcus Benjamin: They should push the button on Lola or Kendal and start the ending of Fatal Influence. Pick: Lola Vice
M. G0MEZ: Lola Vice has something, but she’s not there yet. Kendal Grey is the next big thing, but she just got to NXT. Her moment will come, but not in a triple threat. Jacy Jayne remains the foundation of the NXT women’s division and thus retains its title. Pick: Jacy Jayne
Josh Jagler: If Kendal’s not holding gold at this time next year, something went terribly wrong. But, while cracks are starting to show in Fatal Influence, and I think that group will break up at some point this summer, I think they keep it together enough to deliver a win for Jacy here. Pick: Jacy Jayne
Women’s North American championship: Tatum Paxley (c) vs. Blake Monroe
Geno Mrosko: Blake Monroe doesn’t need the title, just the reps. She should be moving up after this, even if it’s to the main women’s title in NXT. They just have to find the right way to do it. Pick: Tatum Paxley
Sean Rueter: Reports of the former Mariah May’s burial were greatly exaggerated, but I’d still give her the win here to make that clear. Tatum is built for the chase, too. Pick: Blake Monroe
Claire Elizabeth: Blake Monroe may well end up being the woman to end Tatum Paxley’s title reign but it’s not gonna be here and now while she’s still carrying around a purloined title belt. Pick: Tatum Paxley
Marcus Benjamin: Theres an intriguing element here about these two being more alike than it appears. I like that a lot and for that reason, I don’t think this ends here. Tatum gets the win but the beat keeps going beyond this weekend. Pick: Tatum Paxley
M. G0MEZ: The first half of my prophecy was fulfilled at Vengeance Day when Tatum Paxley proved herself against Izzi Dame. Now the final chapter unfolds as “The Glamour” restores honor, dignity, and grace to NXT and all of North America. Pick: Blake Monroe
Josh Jagler: I was intrigued by the in-ring segment Tatum and Blake had on Tuesday, and I think this could be the beginning of either a long rivalry….. or maybe a partnership between these two. Either way, while Blake could use a big win, I just don’t see Tatum losing the belt so soon. Pick: Tatum Paxley
Sol Ruca vs. Zaria
Geno Mrosko: I still can’t tell how they feel about Zaria but they definitely think Ruca has a bright future on the main roster. Pick: Sol Ruca
Sean Rueter: Pretty sure Ruca will be main roster by SummerSlam if not sooner, but does she go out with a win or a loss. If she was a babyface I’d pick her, but look, I’m as confused as anybody. Pick: Zaria, I guess?
Claire Elizabeth: Why can’t everybody just hug and stay uh… yeah sure let’s go with friends, gosh darn it? Pick: A double count-out draw when they realize they’re better together than apart and skip out of the arena arm-in-arm
Marcus Benjamin: This is easy for me. I think this is Sol’s last hurrah in NXT so she does the favors on her way out. Pick: Zaria
M. G0MEZ: Sol Ruca is insufferable, having treated Zaria as if she were a charity case. Whether it’s title shots or big matches against main roster stars, Ruca is the fair-haired maiden who always gets everything. It’s time to F5 this story on its head and deliver a new fairytale ending. Pick: Zaria
Josh Jagler: This feels like Sol’s NXT swan song, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see her show up on RAW on April 20th. I think this will serve as a way to launch Zaria as one of NXT’s top heels, but sending Sol off to the main roster after a win feels like the play here. Pick: Sol Ruca
Men’s North American championship: Myles Borne (c) vs. Johnny Gargano
Geno Mrosko: No thanks. Pick: Myles Borne
Sean Rueter: Bunch a haters in here don’t remember or didn’t watch the black-and-golden days of NXT. Papa John Johnny Wrestling’s back, baby! Pick: Johnny Gargano
Claire Elizabeth: Listen, it’s simple… Johnny Gargano is VERY well-rested right now, and sleep is the key to victory. Pick: Johnny Gargano
Marcus Benjamin: I’m with Geno. Pick: Myles Borne
M. G0MEZ: I’m happy to take a stroll down Memory Lane with “Johnny Wrestling,” but the streets of NXT ain’t paved in black & gold anymore. #AndStill Pick: Myles Borne
Josh Jagler: Gargano’s promo on Tuesday showed glimpses of the Johnny Wrestling of the Black & Gold era. I just think more of Johnny’s story is meant to unfold on the main roster, so I see this ending up as another setback for the only 3-time former North American Champion instead of a triumph. Pick: Myles Borne
NXT Tag Team championship: The Vanity Project (Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes) (c) vs. Los Americanos (Bravo and Rayo)
Geno Mrosko: Los Americanos are a fun act but they shouldn’t become champions in any brand. Let’s see what else The Vanity Project can do. Pick: The Vanity Project
Sean Rueter: I despise how much I enjoy Swipe Right, but those boys are good. Against the men under those masks, this is an undercover match of the night contender. Pick: Vanity Project
Claire Elizabeth: Swipe Right are gonna banana peel their way to another big win right here. Pick: Swipe Right
Marcus Benjamin: I’m picking the most over tag team in the division. Pick: Los Americanos
M. G0MEZ: Now this is my kind of match — two sides willing to go the extra mile to achieve victory. Expect both teams to reach deep into their bag of tricks to leave with gold. However, my money is on lucha veterans Rayo and Bravo, whose bag runs deeper than the young pups. Pick: Los Americanos
Josh Jagler: I expect this to be a solid tag team match that ends with some chicanery. I think both El Grandes get involved with the original thwarting the other’s attempt to help Rayo and Bravo. Pick: Vanity Project
Hank and Tank, Shiloh Hill, EK Prosper & Wren Sinclair vs. Birth Right
Geno Mrosko: What a team they’ve assembled on the good side, right? Pick: Hank and Tank, Shiloh Hill, EK Prosper & Wren Sinclair
Sean Rueter: You don’t change a man’s name to avoid confusion with another man and then book him to lose, do you? Pick: Hank and Tank, Hill, Prosper, and Sinclair
Claire Elizabeth: Thrown together pre-show match, never gonna get me to pick against the babyface team here. Pick: Prosper, Hank and Tank, Hill, and Sinclair
Marcus Benjamin: The new stable has to win this. Right? Pick: Birth Right
M. G0MEZ: C’mon, who is NXT pushing right now? Too easy. Pick: Birth Right
Josh Jagler: Shiloh Hill’s shenanigans have been good for a chuckle or two every week, but there is just no way Lexis King’s crew should be taking a loss like this so soon. Pick: Birth Right
