The Cleveland Browns have added three new pieces to their offensive line while re-signing OL Teven Jenkins as well. With three of the four moves being on the interior of the line, it became clear that OL Joel Bitonio would likely be retiring and OL Wyatt Teller would be moving on, as he noted in his goodbye to Cleveland message.
In place of Bitonio and Teller, along with retaining Jenkins, are OL Zion Johnson and OL Elgton Jenkins.
Bitonio has not made an official announcement, and could decide to continue
his career in another uniform. Teller, on the other hand, has been rumored to go to a number of places and just landed with the Houston Texans:
Acquired by then-GM John Dorsey in a trade with the Buffalo Bills, Teller excelled in his first few seasons in Cleveland, including two second-team All-Pro and three Pro Bowls. Ankle and calf injuries have limited Teller’s performance the last two seasons, including significant drops in his Pro Football Focus grades, which topped out in the 90s and mid 80’s in 2020 and 2021.
Due to his void years in his contract, Teller will still cost over $8 million in salary cap space this year and $11 million in 2027.
What is your favorite Wyatt Teller memory with the Browns?
