Former Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeneß had some interesting things to say about certain former coaches of Bayern Munich per @iMiaSanMia: “I don’t want to name names. But we’ve had coaches where you had to use a fire extinguisher every week after the press conference.”
Which coaches might he be referring to? Might he be referring to Thomas Tuchel? Might he referring to current Germany coach Julian Nagelsmann? Is Hoeneß not taking names because both coaches are coaches of national teams Bayern Munich
players play for? After all, Uli Hoeneß has a way of saying things indirectly and causing a stir.
Nonetheless, current Bayern manager Vincent Kompany is seemingly in the good books of Hoeneß: “Since he (Kompany) arrived, the journalists in Munich have to work again. He gives them nothing but football.” Under Kompany’s tutelage, Bayern’s old nickname “FC Hollywood” has seemingly been temporarily retired. However, drama is never too far from Bayern Munich.
