Game Preview
One more game, and this preseason, which as been nothing but deeply fun, deeply concerning, and deeply long, will at long last be over.
The Caps will be lining up with a mostly NHL roster, as one might
expect for having so few spots really open to them. It’s a testament to how that team drafts that the Hershey Bears are usually graduating one or two guys a year; if not into the NHL with Washington, then at least somewhere. Boston sure could use a little bit of that.
Boston meanwhile is still experimenting with lines, but one would imagine they are planning to lineup with something resembling their opening night configuration. This is the last chance for guys like Fraser Minten and Matthew Poitras to perhaps solidify their place on the roster fully, so let’s hope they have enough of that vaunted “juice” to show a mostly-ready Caps what for.
Let’s find out how both sides interact…together!
