Ferran Torres has sent out a goodbye message to Barcelona fans after sealing a transfer to Paris Saint-Germain.
The Spain star has signed a five-year contract with Luis Enrique’s side in a deal worth around €50 million.
Torres has now taken to social media with a video of some of his Barcelona highlights and the caption: “Many thanks and go Barca.”
Ferran went on to add a little bit more and offered his thanks to the club.
“First and foremost, I want to thank you all for everything. Defending these colors
has been an honor. What I’ve experienced at Barça in these four and a half years has made me a better footballer and a better person,” he added.
“During this time, Barcelona has been my home, I arrived promising to give my all and that’s what I’ve worked for, always with the goal of helping the team, of taking Barça where it deserves to be, to the top.
“I’m leaving behind friends at this club, both on and off the pitch, and many people who have made us all better. Together we’ve been champions with Barça, and many of us have also won titles with the national team. Thank you, and Força Barça!”
