Alice Pereira made a fantastic second impression.
In her second walk to the octagon at UFC Vegas 115 on Saturday, Pereira returned to her winning ways with a stunning second-round knockout of Hailey Cowan. As the final round approached, Pereira unleashed a knee up the middle that caught Cowan square on the chin and sent her crashing to the mat.

It was a competitive fight up to that
point, with both bantamweights having their moments on the feet and Cowan slowing Pereira down with her wrestling. But the conclusive moment came at the 4:24 mark of Round 2 as Pereira put Cowan away with a highlight-reel knee.
Pereira is one of the youngest fighters on the roster having only recently turned 20, but if her post-fight interview is any indication, she’s not lacking in confidence.
“I’m real, motherf*ckers,” Pereira said. “I’m real! I am so real! Dana, I love money, I love fighting.”
It was Pereira’s first UFC win after a disappointing debut saw her lose a split decision to Montse Rendon. Pereira is now 7-1 as a pro.
Cowan (7-5) falls to 0-3 in her UFC career.
