What is the story about?
The latest AP Poll is out and as expected, LSU took a bit of a tumble after an ugly 24-19 loss to Ole Miss.
The drop wasn’t too precipitous, as LSU fell nine spots to land at No. 13 in this week’s poll. Funnily enough, LSU and Ole Miss flip-flopped in this week’s rankings. LSU’s now occupying Ole Miss’s No. 13 spot, while the Rebs are at the No. 4 position. It’s the highest ranking Ole Miss has had in a decade, and if anyone is built to handle success it’s Lane Kiffin.
The Big 10 and SEC are the two
power conferences in college football, and that shows in this week’s poll. Nine of the top-10 are either a B1G or SEC program. Miami’s the only exception, and are once again holding down the #3 ranking.
