It is that time of the year once again when clubs are now determining their final designs for next season, and as a result, kit leaks start to flood the internet. Each year more and more emphasis is put on football fashion and it is clear that this trend is not going away anytime soon.
Fans look to identify themselves with a favorite club or player, and the team shirts looking good are a major part of that. The business side of this is that there is now a market to release unique designs every year
to sell jerseys and make profits. However, this is generally seen as a positive thing from both the club and fans.
Bayern Munich is one of the latest clubs to have their away kit for next season leaked and it is quite a ‘safe’ design when compared to recent years. Footy Headlines’ mockup shows a white shirt with navy and red accents, with very modest overall designs.
It strikes out immediately and is a far variation from the 2025/26 season’s away kit which has not landed well with all fans. While it is great to see a simplistic design once again, it is hard to get a great idea of how the kit will look on the field.
In recent memory, Germany’s away kit for Euro 2024 was highly criticized when early concepts and leaks came out, but once officially dropped, looked like a much better product. It might be early for an official judgement but how are we feeling so far with next year’s kit?
