The war between Brian Johnson and Joe Rogan has ended in a “No Contest.”
That’s because Travis County criminal court recently dismissed charges against Johnson, better known by his social media profile
“Liver King,” following last June’s high-profile arrest for terroristic threats (among other allegations) in Austin, Texas.
MMA Fighting reported the legal update on Thursday.
“Looks, that’s what matters — the charlatan version of me used to say,” Johnson posted in one of his bizarre Instagram ramblings. “But what really matters and what’s stronger than time, principle. You don’t get ready for war when war presents itself. You’re always ready. Always.”
Johnson made a name for himself by eating raw meat and stomping around jacked; which sadly, are the only qualifications you need to become famous in the social media age. Unfortunately, Johnson was also peddling a line of nutritional supplements without disclosing his performance-enhancing drug use.
The 47 year-old king of livers tried to book himself on the immensely-popular Joe Rogan Podcast, but Rogan wanted no part of Johnson’s damage control, which may have led to the aging influencer’s “unstable” obsession with the longtime UFC color commentator.
Hopefully this is the last we hear of the matter.
