- Yu Darvish will undergo Tommy John surgery. Again. He’ll miss the entirety of the 2026 season. He’ll be 41 in 2027.
- Shane Bieber liked his run to the World Series so much with Toronto that he’s picking up his player option for 2026.
- Salvador Perez will remain with the Royals for another two years after agreeing to a two-year, $25 million deal.
- Ozzie Albies had one of his worst seasons as a pro, yet the Braves are still picking up his option for 2026, keeping him in Atlanta another year.
