Buffalo Bills defensive tackle Deone Walker has gone bananas to begin his second season in the NFL. The former fourth-round pick has been borderline unblockable in the first two games of the season, and his huge splash plays have come on monumentally impressive wins.
He has a ridiculous nine quarterback pressures on 59 pass-rush snaps through Week 2, which equates to a high-caliber edge-rusher like pressure rate of 15.9%.
The 6’7”, 330-plus pounder also has seven tackles, two tackles for loss, three
pass breakups, and a sack — all on 95 snaps thus far in the 2026 season.
And he only turned 22 in March (fellow Pisces like yours truly).
Given the game-wrecking start to Walker’s sophomore season in the NFL, I believe it’s now appropriate to start workshopping nicknames for Buffalo’s budding star on the interior. Especially with no Bills game this Sunday. We have plenty of time this weekend.
He’s a pretty unique cat at his gargantuan size and length with serious juice and veteran like pass-rush moves.
But instead of just asking for your suggestions, I’m going to challenge you.
Try to “beat” my favorite I got from my friend Matt in a nickname brainstorm group text on this exact topic earlier today:
“Swim Diesel.”
