Even before his ongoing and still-mysterious disappearance from AEW programming, former NXT champ Keith Lee was a pretty private person.
The end of his time in WWE included a months-long absence we eventually learned was caused by a case of COVID and an inflammation of his heart and lots of rumors about creative issues
. And while we knew that he and WWE’s Mia “Michin” Yim were married, she was on record as saying, “we like to keep our love private”.Despite that, the fact the pair hadn’t been seen
together in a while started to become a topic on the wrestle web around WrestleMania this year. Today (July 14), Yim (real name Stephanie Bell) addressed the speculation head on in the comments of her TikTok*
Yim revealed that she and Lee are divorced when correcting a follower who claimed they were separated, then replied to another who claimed the couple were still together with, “We are not.”
Fightful’s report on the above also mentions this:
When one fan asked when Mia Yim and Keith Lee broke up, she wrote, “over a year ago.”
That doesn’t appear in the comments now however, at least not of the same TikTok post.
But what’s there is enough to confirm that Mia Yim and Keith Lee are no longer married. We hope they’re both doing okay. And that maybe we’ll see the man Swerve Strickland won AEW Tag gold with back in front of the sickos someday.
