What is the story about?
Many draft experts believe the Washington Wizards will select either AJ Dybantsa or Darryn Peterson with the No. 1 pick in the 2026 NBA draft.
But the 2026 Naismith Men’s Basketball Player of the Year, Cameron Boozer, is still in the mix for Washington atop the draft.
Boozer averaged 22.5 points and 10.2 rebounds per game on efficient shooting splits — 55.6% FG and 39.1% 3PT — as a 6-foot-9 forward who finished his lone season at Duke with a +629 plus-minus rating.
Our Greg Finberg breaks down the pros
and cons to Boozer’s game and discusses his perfect fit alongside Alex Sarr, should he be Washington’s selection at No. 1.
