VfB Stuttgart is in another weird period of transition after the sale of Nick Woltemade and it is probably fair to wonder how many more times Sebastian Hoeneß is willing to go through the repeated loss of key players.
When asked if he could eventually see Hoeneß going back to Bayern Munich, star midfielder Angelo Stiller did not dismiss the possibility.
“I could definitely imagine that. Sebastian Hoeneß has a lot to show for himself; he’s turned VfB into something that probably no one else could have
achieved. That’s a statement. He plays a possession-based, dominant style of football. FC Bayern play that, too. So I do believe that – at some point – it would work,” Stiller told Sport Bild (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
Well, there is nothing like having options, eh?
