The first round of World Cup 2026 matches is and means we’ve had the chance to watch every single team in action at the tournament in the USA, Mexico and Canada.
There’s been plenty of entertainment so far. Lionel Messi score a brilliant hat-trick against Algeria, Spain slumped to a goalless draw against Cape Verde and the USMNT produced a thrilling win over Paraguay.
