Mikel Oyarzabal’s name has cropped up as a potential Plan B for Barcelona as they search for a replacement for Robert Lewandowski in the summer transfer window.
While Julian Alvarez and Harry Kane are the club’s dream targets, Kroupi Junior is reportedly an option and Oyarzabal is also seen as a possible Plan B, according to Diario Sport.
Oyarzabal scored 18 goals last season for Real Sociedad in all competitions, bagged six and four assists in six World Cup qualifying games for Spain and has a buyout
clause set at €75 million.
The 29-year-old is also used to playing alongside Barcelona stars. He’s in Spain’s World Cup squad along with eight players from Hansi Flick’s squad.
