Y’all, I think we’ve earned a bye week.
The first five games of Mizzou’s 2025 season haven’t exactly been eventful, but much like Mizzou’s bruising style, they do seem to have taken a toll. The Tigers sleep-walked
through their most recent win, a 42-6 throttling off UMass, and looked far more interested in getting a well-deserved nap in than playing a game of football.
Personally, we (Mizzou fans) could all use a break from the rigamarole of college football as well. It seems as if most of us were in no mood to overanalyze the Tigers lackluster performance on Saturday, which is a welcome respite from living and dying on every snap. The Tigers wins over kansas and South Carolina were plenty taxing, and it only gets more difficult from here with Alabama coming to town in two weeks.
Time to rest up, get healthy and hope the SEC eats itself while we’re hibernating. Looking at you, Vandy vs. ‘Bama.
